Worrying about what other people will think, is one of the most common sources of self-doubt.

Does this sound familiar?

  • Finding yourself taking hours to craft an email response.
  • Or labouring over the filter and/or caption before sharing your thoughts on social media.
  • Overthinking the 'right' time to speak up in work meetings. So you don't speak up in work meetings.
  • Talking yourself out of sharing the less-than-shiny aspects of your life with your people. You're FINE.
  • Not saying the thing you believe would help your client, your colleague, or your kid in case you say it 'wrong' or they misunderstood and it creates a Whole Thing.
  • Having a tendency to interpret any and all feedback as criticism. You often feel braced for it.

When you're diluting so much of yourself, it can be tricky to know where your fear of their opinion ends, and your true self begins.

While you can't control other people's opinions,
you can lovingly detach from the impact of them.
Let me show you how:

we'll explore:
And you'll walk away with:
  • What we are really worried about when we are worrying about other people's opinions. Its never a coincidence that one opinion about us 'stings' more than another.
  • How to make sense of the criticisms that you feel particularly sensitive to. I have a really help approach to support yourself to stay grounded and present.
  • How to use The Criticism Map to navigate back to wholeness, where you can gently and consciously engage with your experience,  and dilute what isn't helpful.

A more expanded awareness of your worries, where they originated from, and why your response makes sense.

  • A practice for taking care of yourself when you feel activated by someone's opinion (because most of us go speedily into a dysregulated and defended state and respond from there).
  • The  Criticism Map process supports you to process, defuse and integrate your worries healthily and compassionately. Loving detachment becomes a practice!
  • Nine rich journaling prompts for you to play with to help you more deeply understand your relationship with judgements and criticism.

Hello you! I'm Sas Petherick.

Worrying about what people think has been a perennial source of my self-doubt.

I used to try to manage my worry by being defensive, rejecting other people, or hiding. But I knew my responses held me back in my work and relationships.

I wanted to understand why my emotions were often out of proportion and how I could accept other people's opinions without ruminating for days.

So, I spent twelve months intentionally exploring my relationship with judgment and criticism. It wasn't exactly 'fun', but it was incredibly illuminating.

As a result, I developed the Criticism Map, which I've shared with hundreds of clients over the years.

These days, I genuinely feel pretty neutral about what other people think. It's so liberating. I want this for you, too.

See you inside ❤️

Kind words from beloved clients...

Sas is a modern-day wise woman. She does not change your life with the wave of a magic wand, but intuitively listens and provokes you to get to your soul’s root. You do the work; she is there to offer another perspective via thoughtful, transformative questions and comments. She is unconditional love in action. That is a rare gift.

- Alicia-Marie

Being coached by Sas is both safe and scary…she has the ability to make you feel secure and valued yet constantly provokes and challenges to get the best from you. Her intuition was frankly amazing and allowed me to fully explore who I really was. The transformation is evident and I am grateful for her championing of me – I felt ‘seen’ and felt appreciated for it.

- Sean

I unexpectedly lost my mum a few days after approaching Sas for coaching – and can honestly say I couldn’t have been in safer, kinder, wiser hands, at such a raw, yet purposeful time. Sas brings a wisdom that is magical, but always had me feeling as though we were meeting as fellow travellers on the journey – what felt like ease and flow in the sessions, was supported by rigour and follow-up outside the sessions. The lasting impact is more than I had hoped for.

- Jacqui

Exploring my path of resistance with Sas has pushed me through personal barriers that I didn’t even realize existed after 20+ years of therapy. Sas creates a safe atmosphere that gives you the permission you didn’t realize you were seeking. Our sessions provided me with the courage to leap and I feel as if I am soaring.

- Jen

Sas has helped me understand myself on a level that I have never experienced before. Her intuitive and gentle guidance towards the issues being discussed is effortless and her wicked sense of humour makes our sessions relaxed and full of ease. My sessions with Sas have laid the foundations for my future; solid, rooted in kindness and full of love. I feel seen. I feel cherished. I feel powerful.
